Since my age of 7 I had to go to several concerts of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra where I discovered the wonderful world of classical music. However, I preferred like most kids the pop-music in the seventies, so that's why I took piano-lessons for 6 years in the pop-, blues- and a little bit jazz-direction. Later on I was (and still I am) inspired by synthesizers. Therefore I've build my own home studio with different synthesizers and equipment. I've also studied Electronic Music Producer by the SAE Institute in Rotterdam. My music-influences are not only from the pop-music in the seventies like Electric Light Orchestra or the synthesizer music of Jean Michel Jarre, but also the classical music symphonies like for instance Vivaldi and Beethoven. I have been traveling a few times in Asia where I heard new kind of music. Therefore my challenge is not only to make my own western based pop-music but also making compositions which combines the sounds of the western world with the sounds of other cultures.
